Greater Purpose.
Greater Belonging.
Greater Independence.

Mission Inclusive is a social enterprise pioneering a new model of housing, growth, and support for individuals and families impacted by intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Like a nonprofit, our mission comes first. Unlike a nonprofit, we don’t depend on donations and grants to keep going.

At the center of that model is the micro-community, a new way to belong. It connects housing, services, and support around a central Hub, creating a real, proximity-based community rather than an isolated one. Nearby micro-communities work together, expanding resources and enriching lives for all.

What We’re Working On

Four Solutions that grow with each Member across their whole life.

Planning a future for a loved one with an intellectual or developmental disability means answering a lot of hard questions. Mission Inclusive brings the answers together through four Solutions that grow with each Member across their whole life.

What does housing look like?

Residential Solutions. At Mission Inclusive, we take the time to understand every Member’s unique needs and aspirations. We thoughtfully match each person with a home that suits their preferred level of independence, whether that means living solo with occasional check-ins or having dedicated, around-the-clock support for complex medical or behavioral needs. Homes range from apartments and small homes to group homes and host homes, all within a micro-community. Members remain rooted in the community they know and love, even as the support around them evolves.

What does learning, working, and finding purpose look like?

Growth Solutions. Growth is such a personalized thing… so every Member is matched with a dedicated Life Coach — a trusted guide who builds a long-term relationship and walks alongside them for years. Life Coaches empower Members to set meaningful goals, discover their strengths, and move toward greater independence at a pace that feels right to them. Through Mission Inclusive and our network of partners, Members can access life-long learning opportunities through IDD focused education, job training, employment placements, on-the-job coaching, and even support to launch their own business. It’s a holistic approach designed to help each person build a life filled with growth and purpose.

What does day-to-day support look like?

Support Solutions. We know a vibrant life is about more than just services — it’s about connection, convenience, and care. That’s why we bring together everything from community events and shared meals to therapies, medical care, fitness opportunities, transportation, and everyday essentials like haircuts, laundry, and shopping. Instead of trying to do everything ourselves, we partner with trusted local providers through each micro-community’s Hub. Support for every Member is flexible and personalized, adapting as their needs and preferences change over time.

What happens when I can’t be there?

Legacy Solutions. Planning for the future means peace of mind not just for today, but for the years ahead. We help families put plans in place so that each Member’s home, care, and community remain steady, no matter what life brings. This includes resources and learning opportunities for parents and guardians, connections to experienced special needs planning attorneys, and our Pass the Torch program, a close-knit circle of families who promise to look out for one another’s children. Our goal is to ensure every family has a solid, caring plan long before they ever need it, so no parent has to face these questions alone.

Beneath all of these is the question every parent carries quietly:

Who will love them when I’m no longer here?

A housing program can’t answer that on its own — a community can.

That’s why every home, every Hub, and every plan we build is centered on real relationships with neighbors, friends, mentors, and caregivers who will be there for the long haul. We support every step that leads up to that question, so that when the time comes, the answer is already in place.
